Sometimes a glittering career hides some of the saddest stories. Lolo was able to achieve her current place of prominence after years of hard work and perseverance. Jones grew up with a poor and difficult life being the daughter of an unwed mom with five children. The mother of Jones moved around constantly and even lived in the church basement. Jones' nomadic lifestyle made her change school every year up to she reached high school. Jones was able to move away from her mom to Theodore Roosevelt in order for her to focus on her interest in track. Jones lived in four different homes during her high school years in order to study in a single location. Jones also performed as a cellist for the orchestra of her school. In high school, she won the Gatorade Athlete of the Year Award from Iowa Track And Field. Jones began her career at the college level as one of the top hurdlers. In 2002, at the NCAA Track and Field Championships in 2002, Jones took home the 100 meter hurdles. Jones was also part of the second team to win the 100-meter relay. Jones has won hurdles in the indoor section at NCAA Championships in both 2003 and 2004. Jones had completed her studies in 2005, began to work hard in track. In 2005 she won winning the Torino Memorial race, in 2006 she was one of the Heusden and Ostrava racers.
The family was raised and born from Cape Town South Africa Brandt immigrated with her family to Auckland New Zealand in her late teens. Brandt, identified by local casting agencies and was cast in the character of Naevia on the Starz blockbusters Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Due to her partnership with Steven S. D Knight's and Sam R. Raimi's producers, she became a breakout star. Mazikeen played the Vertigo/DC comics fan favorite Mazikeen in Netflix's Lucifer, which ran for a total of six years. Forbes named Lucifer the most binged-out show of 2021. Brandt is set to appear in the role of Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira in the six-episode limited Walking Dead spin-off which airs in 2024. Brandt is also set to star alongside Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan and Chris Meloni in the adult animated comedy Captain Fall which airs July 2023 on Netflix. Lesley-Ann Brandt, a South African actress who was born in Cape Town, South Africa on 2nd of December 1981. She is a talented New Zealander performer. Lesley Brandt moved with her entire family of New Zealand to Auckland in the year 1999. She began her career in Auckland as a retailer, and was then elevated to an IT consultant. Lesley's career began with a few model projects. She then appeared in many commercial ads. In 2008, she completed her majors and studied Meisner study methods. The first time she was a prominent actor, her job was in the TV drama Diplomatic Immunity in New Zealand. Lesley Brandt appeared in the New Zealand drama Shortland Street as a supporting visitor character. In the sequel to this sci-fi series This Is Not My Life she played the town of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt was cast as Naevia the young hostage and featured later on in the Spartacus: Gods of the Arena miniature-series of the Television show Spartacus: Blood and Sand.
