Kyra M. Sedgwick (born Kyra Minturn) is a famous American TV personality and actress. She's well known around the world, but especially in America because of her leading role in 'The Cloner. Sedgwick's interest in the arts, Broadway and acting began when she was just 12 years young. Sedgwick first heard about Broadway through her mother. Sedgwick got her first professional part at the age of 16 on the television show "Another world". It was the idea of becoming an actor of a certain stature was the goal she hoped to become. Her first steps were minor roles on TV. The first was her supporting role in the Tom Cruise-starring movie Born on the Fourth of July made her a star in the screen. In the aftermath of the success of that movie, Sedgwick got more roles in films such as "Singles," "Heart & Souls", 'Phenomenon' and so on. She worked in a TV film called 'Lemon sky' where she met her actor husband Kevin Bacon and got married to him in the age of barely 22. Sedgwick is a household name in American TV through her easiness in acting. The Closer ran for 7 seasons and won her several awards like the Golden Globe.
