Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actor who was born on January 31, 1974. She's best known as Bo on the Showcase Television series Lost Girl. Silk is an actor from Canada who was born in Fredericton New Brunswick. Ilkay is the director of drama and producer at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. The father of Silk, Peter, was an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is a bit of a child with earliest memories of watching and going to rehearsals for plays. Silk made several commercials while she was still in the midst of her childhood. Silk was a graduate of St. Thomas University with the Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was involved in at least two early theater productions including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk moved in Toronto in her quest to act and improve, before moving to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman was her future husband when she met him in 2007 during an acting workshop in Los Angeles. When she got engaged in 2008, they were married in the year 2009. On April 10 2011 they renew their vows during an Jewish wedding ceremony held in Fredericton following her conversion to Judaism. Silk got a baby that was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13th 2013. Levi Aaron, her second son was born on 13 May 2016. Silk has a number of TV roles, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. The actress was nominated to win Gemini Awards in 2009 for her performance. In 2009 Silk was a part of Bo Dennis, the lead Bo Dennis in the series Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk became pregnant during production of the season three finale and announced this to viewers on Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20, 2013 that the production was set to begin on Season 4. On 4 June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the beginning of production for the Fourth season. CNN's Cable News Network named her performance as Bo as well as Lauren (Zoie Parker) on Lost Girl as same-sex couples among their top TV Couples. E! named the couple as the top TV Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk is one of the most watched shows on the social networks.
